After delivering two larger babies vaginally, I just have not been feeling the same (down there) as I used to. I decided I needed a little help regaining my sensitivity and am SO HAPPY I found Viveve and my wonderful doctor in Charlotte. Things definitely are tighter again and my husband could really tell a difference too. The Geneveve treatment was not uncomfortable and took about 25 minutes. Very Good Experience and Results

First of all, Dr Lutman is the best Doctor that I have ever come across. He is the most kind and caring Doctor. He answered all of my questions and was very thorough. He’s very knowledgeable and had the best staff as well!
I had the Viveve procedure done in April 2021. I couldn’t be happier with the results! After going through surgical menopause, natural lubrication become non existent. I felt I was too young to be experiencing this. After having this procedure, I am thrilled with my lubrication, and my libido also increased.
Before the Viveve procedure, I was also having problems with incontinence. After Viveve, I have had no problems with incontinence! I’m truly amazed at the results.

We introduced Viveve into the Allan Centre in Calgary, Canada in 2012. This was a time when energy devices were just starting to make their way into the women’s health market and we investigated several alternative technologies including lasers and radiofrequency devices. We are a specialized gynecology clinic providing both medical and cosmetic options and we were looking for a non-surgical treatment for vaginal laxity and sexual function. Initial impressions backed up by published literature convinced us that Viveve was the superior technology based on the ability of cryogen cooled monopolar radiofrequency energy being able to penetrate deeply into the lamina propria and maximally stimulate neocollagensis. Following the introduction of Viveve we observed impressive clinical results in our patients but, more importantly, our observations were confirmed when we participated in the VIVEVE I study which demonstrated a significant improvement in both vaginal laxity and sexual function compared to placebo. This did not surprise us as we knew what the Viveve treatment was providing to our patients but it was very reassuring to see that what we had observed was now validated by a randomized, controlled trial which was an industry first.

In 2017 we began investigating the efficacy of Viveve for stress urinary incontinence (SUI). We completed a small pilot study which demonstrated significant improvement in subjective patient outcomes up to 12 months. We then performed a larger feasibility study which included subjective, objective (one hour pad test) and voiding diary outcomes up to 12 months. Again, the results were even more impressive than we had anticipated with significant improvements in all three metrics.

Based on the strength of these studies we opened a second clinic (Lifestyles Allan Centre) specifically focusing on SUI. Although we offer all therapeutic options for SUI, Viveve is by far the treatment option chosen by the majority of our patients. Women are hesitant to choose vaginal meshes whereas five years ago this was the primary treatment option. Therefore, Viveve has stepped in to fill the void left by the decreased acceptance of surgery. Our client volume and sales revenue have increased month over month as we are now able to offer a safe, effective non-surgical treatment option for a major health issue in women which has been overlooked for years. It also provides a recurring revenue stream and a clinic where women feel safe, secure, listened to and know that we will stand by them to help them achieve their goals.

We have been very successful with Viveve because we believe in it and are passionate about what it can do. We have always held to the principal that we will not introduce a product or service into our clinic unless we know that it will provide benefit to our patients. Physician’s expect medical device companies to tell them what their product will do for their patients (backed up by science and published trials) and what it will do for them in regards to return on investment.

We have witnessed personally the benefits that Viveve provides to our patients through technology that is proven and backed up by science and published results. Rather than sell a service, we provide options and let the woman make the choice herself (therefore giving her control over her health and wellness). This has proven to be a very successful model for both the patients and the growth of the clinic. But it would not be possible without safe and efficacious technology.
